Celebrate the AHA! Moments in Learning
Our last two blogs walked us through the power of creating and embracing "AHA!" Moments in the classroom by using games and quizzes in the BRAVOZONE. But what about those "ahas" - those "lightbulb" moments in your classroom that suddenly strike and everything clicks into place?
You've put so much effort into developing training materials that resonate with your learners, so why not take a moment to honor and celebrate their breakthroughs? After all, who doesn't love a little recognition for their hard work? Celebrating those magical learning moments as a class could be truly transformative. Just imagine how it would make your learners feel if you showed them that you noticed and appreciated their progress. What do you have to lose by being more intentional about recognizing their achievements?
What IF you made a big deal out of those "ahas" you're working so hard to achieve? What IF you lead your classroom with a rousing round of applause, bust out the confetti, snap a victorious photo - whatever feels authentic to you and your classroom?
You could even create a special ritual, like having students sign a "Champions of AHA!" poster or awarding glittery "AHA! All-Star!" stickers to display. However you choose to celebrate, making a big deal out of those milestone moments will fill your students with a sense of pride and motivate them to keep pushing forward in their learning journey.
They'll start to see challenges not as obstacles, but as opportunities for growth and achievement. And that mindset shift? That's where the real AHA! Magic happens.

Here are some ideas to recognize and celebrate those AHA! moments in your classroom:
"Perfect Moments"
Celebrate the awesome things that happen during your game — those "perfect moments" when everything just clicks. Share the story with the whole group so everyone can celebrate together. Spreading that positive energy and acknowledging people's great work in the moment is what keeps our culture upbeat, appreciative, and all-around amazing.
Say Something Nice
Kind words have the power to lift people up, put a smile on their faces, and make them feel appreciated. Even just a simple, genuine "I see you putting in the extra effort!" or "Nice work on that project!" can give someone a much-needed boost. Compliments show that you notice and value the efforts and qualities of the people around you. And that recognition can motivate them to keep doing their best. Plus, being nice is contagious – the more you share those positive vibes, the more they spread. So don't be shy, your kind words can have a bigger impact than you realize!
Company Awards
Hand out company awards during the meetings, recognizing those who made above-and-beyond contributions.

Raise Your Hand
Ask them to raise their hand and ask them what did they learn today that they didn't know yesterday?
Give Them Kudos!
Asking people to give recognition is a great way to make someone feel appreciated and valued. It could be as simple as saying "Let's give a virtual round of applause to Sarah for her hard work on that challenging project!" By specifically naming the person and what they did that was noteworthy, you draw everyone's attention to their efforts and accomplishments. This not only makes Sarah feel great, but it also sets a positive tone and example for the whole team. Calling out people's successes, whether big or small, is an easy but meaningful way to boost morale, motivation, and camaraderie. So next time someone does something awesome, don't hesitate to rally the group to give them some well-deserved kudos!
We would love to hear about your AHA! Moment and how you chose to celebrate these achievements in your classroom sessions!
